AP participation and scores are up

According to a new report by the Texas Education Agency, participation in Advanced Placement (AP) tests by Texan students was up 4% in 2011-12.  Also, according to the College Board, performance increased 9.1% for all students, 12% for African-American students, and 13.9% for Hispanic students.
