16 Texas Schools Recognized by U.S. Department of Education

Sixteen Texas schools have received the prestigious 2012 Blue Ribbon Schools award from the U. S. Department of Education.

According to TEA, the program has recognized about 500 Texas schools since its creation in 1982.
